It ran well with COP mod, i did that a long time ago. I am going to strip the tank off and prod around with the meters and test tank. Maybe I can find a wonky wire from the fuse box plugs. I have a spare junction box somewhere but it hasn't shown itself, probably in a random box from when I moved. Right now a Z1000rs or a transalp looks good.

I'd start with opening up the fuse box. Then swap out the CDI/ECU. I installed a CDI from a ZX 1000 on my ZL 10. My ZL 10 seems to rev up quicker. I'm not sure if Kawboy still rebuilds CDI. He might have some spares.
