For clarity, he is working on a ZL1000. It uses 34mm carbs as opposed to the ZL900 and ZG1000 which use 32mm’sSorry, I haven't been on here in awhile, will have to learn more about the new "owner's of the site". But my 2 cents on your issues. I had a similar problem after getting my bike back from a "shop" and it ran lost power at highway speeds. Found out they pinched one of the vacuum diaphragms not allowing the needle to fully open. But before purchasing individual parts to fix, I figured out that the carbs on a zg1000 Concours are the same other than the throttle and choke bracket. I found a set on eBay and swapped out the brackets and eliminated (pun intended) that issue.
Did you get your kickstand switch working.
I have a set of pickup coils that came off a ZL 10 with 8K miles.

OK. I'll look for that used set today. It might take some time.
I found the used ZL pick up coils. I found them in the last ZL parts boxes. LOL!!! I have 25 white 7"x 5"x 3" small shipping boxes that I keep small OEM ZL parts in. I have a new set of pick up coils that I bought from partzilla 12 years ago for $100. They now go for around $226. 59026-1061. __________________________ ![20260518_092552~3[1].jpg 20260518_092552~3[1].jpg](https://www.zl-oa.com/community/data/attachments/32/32420-2a297c175e7b1db740b93c8289a990d4.jpg?hash=wi9DQp3GuS)
