Figure 8 fuel petcock filter

Does anybody know where to find the "filter" that attaches to petcock and goes inside the tank?
Mine is figure 8'd at the base and not doing its job
Looked everywhere and it appears I have to purchase the entire petcock (part # 51023) ??? please advise and thanks!!

I've tried to source new filters with no luck so I fix the old ones "IF" they're not too brittle when they get to me. I soak them in Dawn for a couple of days then I very carefully heat the base with a heat gun to get them back to close to the right shape. When I replace the plastic tube with a brass one, it holds the filter back out to the body like it's supposed to. The parts supplier changed it to a brass tube in later petcocks but the early ones were the plastic tube which collapses over time and allows the filter to become distorted. There are no new filters to be had cause if there were, I'd send mine out with new filters!
