Case Guards, Anyone?

That's right R.J., still looking for a good fabricator. Now that the weather's breaking around here finally, I'm gonna' be renewing my search and putting more time into this. If I can't get someone to keep the cost the same as they've been from the original builder of these, then I'll keep looking. I haven't given up on this project guys, just need to find the right shop. Sure wished Steve still did them.....he did an awesome job at reasonable cost.
 
I see this is an older post. Is there anything I could do to get a set of these guards. Had a lay down that could have been much worse, so this protection is on the top of my mind, again.
 
:hello: MARKUS has the fabracating jig to have these made. I guess he is still looking for a fabracater to build case guards.
 
You guessed right R.J. and besides, I'd have to see significant interest in them before I'd go in finacially and have them made again.
 
Well guys, I never found a fabricator I felt comfortable with to make these so I never had anymore made. If there is anybody out there that can take this ball and run with it, I will certainly yield to whomever can get these done. If they get to be more than 100 bucks a piece, there won't be many step up to purchase them I wouldn't think. Idealy, it would be best if a member here could make them and keep the cost down but I believe if we have a shop make them, it won't be cost efficient. Is there anyone on here that wants to take the bull by the horn and get these done?

Hope you are fine. Talking about crash bar, can you share the jig or did you find time to unmount your bar to lidar it ?

:hello: I thought about getting the jig from Mark but passed on it. He said it was too heavy and bulky to ship. I passed because of my two passed experiences. (1) My water pump rebuild service. (2) Complete decale sets for all the ZLs. I'm stuck with 12 water pumps and 10 sets of decales. :banghead::angryfire::pain10:.

Maybe some quotes, pictures, lidar file ...
The simple version would be easier to copy.
I saw your decals. Impressive work. Unfortunately I don't need it to date.

:hello: I think Mark was charging $100 for naked case guards. My powder coat guy done mine for free. Also mine was OEM and was given to me.
 
I’ve had this set for a long time now. No directions or anything.

:hello: Those case guards are like the ones I used from a Honda Goldwing but are not as wide. The only difference is they don't have the cross bar as the OEM ones do. Nice find.
 
Sorry, I’m out. Maybe I will list them on Ebay in the future
