IMG_3009.jpeg IMG_0417.jpeg I bought this 2001 Chevy 2500HD and am in the process of driving it home. Had 20,800 miles on it. Have to house/dog.cat sit for 3 1/2 weeks on my way home, give me time to do a little tinkering with it

That is a rare find, 25 yr old truck that is barely broke in!

Good looking year, probably not much to tinker with other than changing fluids and inspecting the rubber bits. Im sure it will give you plenty of years of service.

I will be under my 19' GMC doing its 25k oil change today. I thought mine was low mileage :)

I knew from the pictures that one of the shocks was leaking so I gathered up an nos set of all four and had them shipped to our son’s house where I will be house sitting. It will give me something to do for a half day or do anyway. Probably shouldn’t post a picture of the underside to risk offending the rust belt guys, but what the hay!

Oh Come on!! Enough of that, sincerely western PA.

:hello: Nice find. Truck looks really good. I'd say 9 out of 10. You can eat off that frame. LOL! Ya if that was a PA truck it would be a bucket of rust after 25 years.

I find that offensive, coming from the land of snow and salt!
AWESOME find!

:hello: When I lived in PA I bought a 1971 beater car in 1975 for $250. It was in really good condition. By 1983 the frame was gone. I had to junk it.
