Here's the links to some instruments I'm going to install on my Eliminator. I'm also going to fab out my own Halo ring for my Maltese Iron Cross headlight shown in my album pics. The first is the LED gauge website. The YouTube links are the digital gauge demos and the last link is how-to for making your own halo lights. I also posted some mock-up pics in my member picture album of the gauge pods I'm going to use and some details about them.

I really like the halo ring idea. It will be interesting to see how you implement the idea on your bike. Keep us posted!

Oh, that angel eye is pretty cool. That's a definite must try project for the future. Thanks for the post on that. Later.

awww man ...just when I think I finallly done it all to my zl1k ya gotta post up with this...lol

questions

will those led guages mount up in the stock buckets ?

how do you mount up the led rod in the head light?

Howdy Bacchus,

I haven't tried anything yet but I will as soon as I can.

Here's the gauge pricing direct from the manufacturer.

D1-SPE338-DIG - Speedometer – Iridium Blue Series 3 3/8” - $89.39 USD

D1-TAC338-DIG - Tachometer – Iridium Blue Series 3 3/8” - $89.39 USD

D1-WRT-DIG - Water Temperature – Iridium Blue Series 52mm - $45.69 USD

D1-VLT-DIG - Volt Meter – Iridium Blue Series 52mm - $45.69 USD

D1-OLP-DIG - Oil Pressure – Iridium Blue Series 52mm - $47.67 USD

For the set $90.00 Total Shipping Cost

As for mounting the Halo LED in the headlight bucket question, I figure either 3M adhesive or epoxy or silicone. I'm not sure yet which is the best way to go yet since I'm not using a stock headlight bucket.

As for the Drift Iridium Gauges in the stock Speedo & Tach buckets question, I think they'll be fine because the mounting depth is much much less than the stock instruments.

I'm probably going to heli-arc my buckets to fill the odometer cut-out and the speedo cable hole and then black-krinkle powdercoat them leaving just the new instrument bezels chrome.

I'm also going to do the same thing with the turn signals and the headlight bucket as well.

This is pretty cool! I wouldn't mind trying to make some halos for the stock bucket...Would be cool to use them on the gauges too but add a resistor to dim them so the glare doesn't mess you up at night.
