My name is Bryan. My brother(EricD) and I have bought the site from Mark. Thanks again to Mark for taking over the site and keeping it alive.

We have some plans for the site but we also would like to hear from the members on what they would like to see from the site.

Comment here when you get the chance.

Hi everyone! We are happy to be a part of this community and hoping to chat with you and get some insight about the forum. Please fill free to reach out to either of us if you have any ideas or requests as we start learning about the forum.

Eric

Thanks Bryan and your Brother for picking up this site! I for one would be very happy to just maintain the site as is! The main problem has been new users not being able to get an account set up or problems logging in once signed up

Thanks to you both for taking this site on! As Wuputt said, I think the first issue to resolve would be figuring out why new members aren't being able to sign up.
After that, figure out why notifications aren't being sent.
Welcome and thanks again!

Hello Bryan and Eric! It is great to meet you. We are grateful that you have saved the website.

My only request is that we can build up the ZL community and have a more active forum like we used to; hoping to bring back (deep discussions, casual chats, events, projects, etc.)

Thank you.

As others have said, thanks Shaggy and Eric.

There are tons of baby eliminators that have been sold for many years as well as the new model, I think there are plenty of would be users in that group if we made areas for them. Looking forward to having activity pick up again.

Thank you so much for taking over this fine site.
As others have mentioned, sorting out the ability of new sign ups is big. I have recommended this site to ZL owners on FB only to be told that they can't sign up.

To possibly fix everything, the forum may need to be updated to the newest version of Xenforo(the software used for the forum). I am going to also open up the forums to where its visible to guests. That could help with getting more traffic here as well.

The site layout and design is good and the priorities should be to what has already been mentioned (user access and visibility). There are several FB groups that are very fragmented with information however this site could easily grow if everyone had a central "hub" to come vs jump from group to group (i.e. promote on those FB groups). This site has a treasure trove of information to share and its great you purchased and its great the previous owner was willing to sell it and carry on its heritage. Win-Win!

Add a political and religious section please!

I kid.:roflmao:

I wasn't talking about the look of the site, but more of the software. Its an older version that is not being security updated anymore.

Is the issue with registration that the new members doesn't get the activation email?

I BELiEVE that is the case, Furchin would probably be able to clarify

I looked at it as I tested signing up a new account and I never got the activation email. I'll get that fixed this weekend!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. Like Shaggy mentioned, the update is to just get the software up to date. We look forward to all your input on what to do and not do, so let us know your thoughts. Getting the new member sign up fixed was our main conversation when we were in the process of purchasing the forum. We originally thought is was just closed to any new members completely but now we know it is a connection error. Should be all squared away over the weekend and hopefully we can get some new members in here right away and get the traffic rolling!

Again, please don't hesitate to contact us with any ideas or input. We really enjoy interacting with members on all our forums!

Thanks again all!

Eric

Emails should be working now. You all may start getting your notifications that you have been missing!

R.J., use the drop down menu under your name ,(where you log out), you will see contact details. It should have your email in that location.

I posted on my Facebook group. There's 5300 members and have had a lot of complaints about the problems here. Should see a bunch come over soon.
My FB group is Kawasaki Eliminator Owners, check it out!
