Hi Guys,

I've got a ZL900 that is getting some love.
After scouring the forums, interweebs, and manuals I have yet to find out what direction the timing plate bolt comes off. I assume that since the engine spins counter clockwise the bolt would come out the opposite direction? Its on there and I would hate like hell to bust it off.
Any feedback?

It's standard - righty tighty, lefty loosy. As R.J. stated, the thing like a nut is just a spacer. The allen head in the center of it is what you want to remove. Later.

:hello: I thought the spacer was a nut & hit it with air & almost sheared off the roll pin. When I realized I screwed up I panicked because at first I thought the roll pin was part of the crank. Always revere to the manuals & schematics/drawings.
