Soooo.... Zl1000... 1052/1109 completely possible... But... You'll need the bottom casings machined to accept the liners of either zzr1100 or zrx1100 barrels, if you're going 1052 that's standard 1100 piston size, if you want 1109 that's wiseco territory (and absolutely worth it! ) run a zrx1100 head with zzr1100 cams, ignition advance or dynatek 2000, set up the intakes and Roberts your mother's brother.... Reliable.... Well I've had this version on the road for 7/8 years of abuse including European rides and.... Yeah its still a beast!
