Hey guys, I have a very technical yet probably basic question. I am replacing the oil pan gasket and found a black oil tube in the pan. I looked up the part in my owners manual and it is listed in the engine section under lower crankcase. It is part number 92059-1508 and is named oil tube. I cannot find any other information about it as to where it goes or which way to orient it. It is at a 45 degree angle with a small dog ear on it. I have narrowed it down to three possible locations where it goes but am leaning heavily on the incoming 45 degree angle hole in the back of the oil pan. Please let me know if this is correct and which way to orientate the piece. Thanks in advance!!!!

Yes it goes to the rear and is to hang from the block, pointing to the front and the oil pan will actually hold it in placeonce you install it. Thought I had a pic of its installation to post but aparently I dont maybe someone else with ablock apart will be able to.

Here's a couple pics. The tube should face more toward the front of the motor/oil pump. Later.

Thank you so much for the pics. I installed it but without the pics, then after looking at the manual and the previous comment thought it had to point toward the front of the engine instead of straight down. I was thinking that it would probably pinch the flow of oil but I wasn't going to pull it apart again. So, now that I see the pics I realize that I did it right. Thanks once again.
