<table border="0" cellpadding="2" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr style="font-weight: bold; border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);"><td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left">Item Name</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="150">Quantity</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" width="100">Status</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left">SPACER,FORK</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="100">Shipped</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left">SEAL-OIL,FORK</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="100">Shipped</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left">SEAL,FORK</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="100">Shipped</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left">RING-SNAP,FORK</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#edece8" width="100">Shipped</td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left" bgcolor="#ffe2c2">BUSHING-FRONT FORK</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#ffe2c2" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#ffe2c2" width="100">BACKORDER </td> </tr> <tr> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="left" bgcolor="#ffe2c2">BUSHING-FRONT FORK,IN</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#ffe2c2" width="150">2</td> <td style="border-bottom: 1px solid rgb(204, 204, 204);" align="center" bgcolor="#ffe2c2" width="100">BACKORDER</td></tr></tbody></table>

I have no idea what condition any of the existing parts are in, only that the seals are leaking badly. Can anyone tell me the likelihood of being able to reuse the existing bushings? I'll have the work done at a local shop so i'm just wondering if i should wait for the backorder or go ahead and schedule the work without the new bushings?

What do you think?

Thanks

I just did mine at 32,000mi and replaced the seals and dust seals only. Everything else looked good. I used 15w fork oil and if I was to do it again I would have used 20w for the zl9

I think the front end is too soft with 15w. I don't know if what I had was original but I was hoping for a higher dampening.

I used 20w for the very same reason, it should have helped but with new seals etc. it is kind of hard to tell.
