This privacy policy sets out how ZL-OA uses and protects any information that you provide, whilst using ZL-OA's forums and applicable forum add-ons. This includes, but is not limited to, ZL-OA.com and any associated websites and sub-domains.

ZL-OA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Any information provided by you to ZL-OA, by which you can be identified, will only be used in accordance with this privacy policy.

ZL-OA may change this policy as and when necessary. It is your responsibility to check this privacy policy periodically to ensure you agree with any changes.

What information we collect

  • AMA Membership ID
  • Last 4-Digits of VIN

What we do with the information we collect

The information you provide to ZL-OA is required for, but not limited to, the following reasons:

  • Creating an online map of ZL Eliminators based on your Country, State, and City location

Controlling your personal information

When using the ZL-OA.com forum, you may choose to limit public viewing of applicable personal information through the settings located in the Privacy section of your account.

ZL-OA will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we are required by law to do so. We may use your personal information to send you information about updates, or other information pertaining to ZL-OA, or your account.

Email addresses and other personal information are never sold, rented, traded or leased to third parties.

If you discover any of the information ZL-OA holds for you is incorrect or incomplete, that you are unable to change yourself, please contact us as soon as possible so the necessary changes can be made.

Children's Online Privacy

This Website is not intended for use by children under 13.

As part of our compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect names and email addresses from children under 13.

In the event a child under the age of 13 submits a request or question to us on a Website and identifies his or her age, we may use the child's email address for the sole purpose of responding to the child's question on a one-time-only basis.

However, we will not use the child's email address for subsequent contact with the child, and we will delete that address from our records once we have responded.

If we become aware that we have unknowingly collected Personal Information from a child under the age of 13, we will make reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database.

We do not sell or knowingly divulge ANY personally identifiable information regarding children under 13 to third parties, unless otherwise required to comply with applicable laws, to comply with a court order or subpoena, to enforce our Terms and Conditions of Use, or to protect the safety and security of our users and our Websites.

Children should check with their parent or guardian before entering personally identifiable information on any website, and we urge parents and guardians to discuss with their kids restrictions regarding the online release of personally identifiable information to anyone they don't know.

3rd Parties

Our privacy policies only applies to data we collect. We utilize some third party services on this site that may collect data about you. An example of some of the 3rd party companies that we utilize services from are Google, Facebook, Twitter and PayPal. Please refer to their privacy policies for more info.

Account Ownership

Accounts created here are licensed for exclusive use by the individual that created the account (they are not "owned" by anyone). Accounts are never "company accounts" regardless of the account creators affiliation or employment.

ZL-OA user accounts may not be used by multiple people, sold or traded and are non-transferable in all ways.

Users may have one account ever.

Changing or Deleting Your Posts

If you would like to edit (or delete) your posts, you can do so within 1 hour of making the post. After that, it is not possible for you to edit or delete the posts you have made here.

By registering at this site, you grant ZL-OA non-exclusive rights to publish content (posts, visitor messages, etc.) that you create here.

This is a public venue, a good rule of thumb is to simply not post anything that you don't want people to see.

Changing Another Member's Posts

There are two options you have for getting a post altered (or deleted) that was written by another member (contacting moderators/administrators to do it first is not an option YOU have).

The easiest method is to contact that member directly. They have the ability to edit their own posts for 1 hour after making the post. If the time frame is beyond 1 hour, the ORIGINAL POSTER can request the post be edited by an administrator (the request may or may not be approved). Generally, if a post does not violate our rules, it doesn't get removed.

The second method is to contact a moderator/administrator with the reason you believe that the post violates one of our forums terms and rules. Your reasoning will be taking into consideration and the post may/may not be removed at sole discression of ZL-OA owners.

Disputes Between Members

We do not have the time (or desire) to babysit members. If there is anyone that you don't get along with, we give you the tools to ignore them. You simply add them to your Ignore List.

Please don't ask to have a member banned simply because you don't get along with them. There are plenty of members that the administrators wouldn't consider friends, but it's not our job to silence members that we don't agree with.

We don't get involved in business disputes between members, but you are welcome to use 3rd party dispute resolution services.

Username Changes

We would prefer you did not change your username (since it can cause confusion with other users), but if you feel you *must* change your username, you may do so for a fee (this cost primarily is a barrier that prevents many people from doing it as it's a server intensive task to update all of a users posts with proper username. Funds collected will go towards future site upgrades).

Trademarks and Affiliations

ZL-OA is in no way part of or affiliated with Kawasaki, we simply supply information and knowledge about repairs

Although ZL-OA has pages on but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Youtube, etc. we are not Affiliated shareholders of those companies. We use their services as a form of Social Networking just as the general public does. We do not collect any information from your accounts besides what is required to login with Facebook, or Google should you choose that login method.
