:hello: MADMAN. I called you when I first found out that ZL-oa was being bought by an outside group of guys. We all need to somehow get old and new members back to the site.
 
So just wanted to give you all an update. Planing on moving this site on to my own server soon. I will need to update the forum software and the look of the site will stay, but it will have some small differences due to the newer version of Xenforo. The registration issues has been fixed, but I haven't seen any new members yet. I have been emailing members that never got their activation emails to see if they are still willing to finish their registration.

These are a few things I have been doing. I just wanted to let you all know.
 
If anybody belongs to the Facebook groups that are out there and would post a message in the ZL groups, it might help spread the word also. Thanks!
 
Shaggy- Is there a way also to send a broadcast email to all the registered members letting them know as well?

Yes, but I need to clean up the emails before I do any mass emails. I just setup a new email for ZL-OA and I don't want to hurt it with several emails bouncing. I will send one out when I get the site moved, updated, and emails cleaned. ;)
 
I just hope what we do gets this site active again. I know it won't be extremely active, but I hope we can get a few posts going a day. :)

One of the things affect this site is that its shut down from guests. No threads or posts can be seen. Only registered members can. That also means Google and other search engines can scan the site. I have been trying to figure out how to open the site back up to get search engines to scan the site, but haven't been able to find the issue yet...
 
:hello: I was wondering why in the top right hand corner of the home page GUESTS has always been ZERO. It has been this way for six years or so. One thing that I'd like to see change is if MEMBERS would be abe to EDIT our POSTS at anytime. As of now we have to do it in the first hour. After that you can no longer EDIT.

The word will get out and we will get new members. I will continue to guide potential members here on the FB groups. There is a LOT of the 125 Eliminators out there, to include them here would definitely boost membership.
I like what you guys are doing here and look forward to seeing the results in the future.
 
:hello: Another thing is we have had several members that have been band from ZL-oa for one reason or another. In my humble opinion I think they should be able to be given a second chance. They used to be very active members. SHAGGY would you be able to find out who they were. On their profile page it states BANNED.

I could but would ask members or mods(do we even have mods here? :) ) and see if the members I point out will be good with a second chance or not.
 
I still consider myself a mod. until told different!
And I can see giving some another chance but, they were all given a second chance before being banned! Consequently, some of the same have been banned from my FB group for the same reasons!
