1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

I’ve been looking for one locally but there is nothing under $10,000. Was considering importing a CR500AF but that’s an expensive proposition also.

:hello: WAD: If you like I can ask my friend about the CRF 450 rolling chassis with the CR 500 motor. You would have to modify the frame in order to use the 500 motor. He didn't pay a dime for either so it might be worth your while. He does not have the exhaust pipe for it.

That doesn't sound like a very smart thing to do.

Can't be avoided in some situations; one thing I've learned: don't hesitate! Here are two viewers (me and someone else) - BAM! It was mine!!!;)

That’s devastating to hear the CR went to the scrap yard. Would have been a great project to sit next to the ZL1000 project.

It’s such a shame to hear any bikes getting scrapped.

The poor ZL has been put on the back burner and collecting dust, thankfully work has slowed so will be able to get the tools dirty and get to work on it soon.

Hope you are all doing well and staying safe in these crazy times.
