1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

20180912_192848.jpg If you look just in front of the foot peg directly underneath, it mounts to the oil pan. Unless im mistaken. I forget what it is.

How does the fuel tank look inside. Full of gas for ten years or empty?

I have not looked yet... Have to punch the lock, the PO lost the keys. Feels like about half a tank.

:hello: I wouldn't punch out the lock. It is very hard to find replacements. You can remove the ignition & take it to a lock smith & he can cut you a new key. It costs about $50.

I already have a complete lock set, the original Ignition switch was destroyed by the original owner. the only lock I have not replaced so far is the seat lock and the fuel tank lock.

A small nut holds the wire on the sending unit stud.

Mine is a small bolt that screws into the sensor. I am going to have to repair the wire... it has been sitting against the exhaust and is melted.
