1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

Does anyone know if there is a single seat saddle available for the ZL600? Preferably one that uses the original fittings and clips. I could modify the original saddle but I feel like I should try to preserve it, which sounds silly considering I just took an angle grinder to the frame a few days ago! :icon_scratch:

:hello: I'll have to find the seat because I'm in the process of restoring the 250 & it's in one of 3 places. :laughing7:. Just give me time to find it.

No worries, take your time. My bike isn't going to be on the road any time soon. :)

:hello: While this morning I found the 1988 EL 250 Eliminator seat in a 4th place. :laughing7:. In my master bed room closet. I took pics of many locations. If you need others let me know. First set of pics are with no measurements. Just what the seat looks like. I think that you can only up load 20 pics per post. So I'll do pics of measurements in another post. The EL 250 sold in the US 88 to 94. I think Over Seas 87 to 98. I guess I'm not the only one who keeps a seat in the bedroom closet. What a hoot!

Thank you for all the photos and the time and effort you took. Size wise it loos okay. I think If I was to fit one I'd either have to fit some mounting points on the sides of the frame, Or just modify the seat a bit to use the original mounting points. It looks like what I'm after though, so either way I could make it work. :)

:hello: No problem. Glad to help. :notworthy:. Myself I'd move the seat mounts on the frame.
