1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

That looks like a damn nice bag with a lot of room and handy to get at. Have you got it sitting on the rack?

:hello: The sissy bar bag has 7 different storage compartments and yes it is sitting on the rack. It has 1800 square inches of storage space. I have a 1/4 inch sheet of foam between the rack and the bag so that the bag does not booger up the racks powder coat. Friday I bought a new NationalCycle dark smoke tint low profile windshield. Part # N2526. I got it from PowderKoat Plus for $86 shipped.https://www.ebay.com/itm/NATIONAL-C...AOSw1JVaF2dX:sc:FedExHomeDelivery!32738!US!-1 _______________________________________________ IMG_7934.JPG IMG_7935.JPG

:hello: This afternoon I mounted my new NationalCycle F 16 windshield and the NOS OEM tachometer that I got from Toms Cycle of Indiana PA. I also redone a few connectors in my headlight bucket. I replaced the ones that needed a 2 into 1 connector. ___________________ IMG_7939.JPG IMG_7938.JPG IMG_7940.JPG IMG_7937.JPG IMG_7936.JPG

:hello: I finished up with my ZL 10. Going for a test ride here shortly. It's only 92*. :laughing7:. I'll let you all know how the Progressive shocks with the heavy duty springs are. IMG_7943.JPG IMG_7941.JPG

:hello: Thanks. :notworthy:. I put about 50 miles on my ZL 10. I went hunting speed bumps. :laughing7:. I couldn't bottom out the new 12" Progressive shocks. They seem just right set on the lowest setting for riding alone. Riding two up may be a different story. The new 125 Eliminator bars seem perfect for me since I'm short. The stock bars was to high and the VMAX ones was to low. As for the new windshield I bought chrome metric allen button head bolts along with chrome flat washers. Also I put fiber washers behind and in front of the windshields contact surface for dampening. Gone are the big SS fender washers. IMG_7944.JPG IMG_7945.JPG

:hello: VMD 2018 was a Nightmare from HELL!!! For 2019 I don't think anyone went. Why I don't know because it is a blast. I didn't even have to buy my own beer. One Morning while walking into the shower area a guy handed me a beer. :occasion14:. :laughing7:.

RJ, the rear mounting bracket and bag came out very nice. You have lots of room to carry beer in that bag

Looks like well done kit! Nice work. Looks like you will still have room for a pillon.

:hello: I have a spare seat that is modified for more room for my wife. I designed it around her butt. :laughing7:. It has tail bone inserts. I even drilled drain holes at each insert location. Cost $200. __________________________________________________________________________________ IMG_7950.JPG IMG_7951.JPG IMG_7952.JPG

:hello: I bought a set of 4 mini master locks for my SaddleMan sissy bar bag. $12. Also I'm going to make 2 plates for the bag so that I can secure it to the mini rack. I'm going to cut this 1/4 inch alluminium plate in half. One will be inside the bag and the other one will go under the mini rack. IMG_7953.JPG IMG_7954.JPG

I bought that same fairing for my ZL600 cafe project that I gave up on. It's now on my Zero FX.
