1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

:hello: Only 2 other people showed up from ZL-oa. We don't even have 10 people who come on the site daily. Almost a ghost Forum. :Laughing4:.

Years newer and 99-05 doubled the number of years the big ZL was out. The Eddie Lawson replica was made as a tribute for the 1982 superbike, 3 short years later the ZL9 hit the market.

I'd say it's high time Kawasaki visits the ZL again now that they realize not everyone wants plastic dripping off their bikes.

I wish Big K would revisit some street 2 strokes! I had a few, and my love for Bighorns is still real. I was just a few years too young to for having an early Japanese 2 stroke street bike, but I'd see the A7 Avenger in a bike museum a few years back, and wonder about the lil twins power (with the dual rotary vavle carbs on each end of its crank) vs. its suspension and braking, it really does look like a "toy" compared to our modern machines. .....never got to ride, see or hear one run! ( could it take an RD, or a GT twin? ) Its on my bucket list, if anybody has one! I treat her with loving care! found this pic of one on the web....

:hello: Again this Bike Week we stopped at the KAW tent & 3 or 4 reps walked over to look at our ZLs. They agree with us on bringing back a big ZL but that's as far as it goes. I read on the Inter-net hat some small 2 stokes form Japan will be out in the next few years.
