1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

:hello: We jumped 30 cents a gal in one day. It's $2.39/gal here. Yesterday in Sanford the next City to our West I paid $2.22/gal. Volusia Co. which is where we live has a 10 cent higher gas tax than the rest of the State.

:hello: We here in the states have more crude in the ground than all the Middle Eastern Countries combined. A year ago my two sons & I went to PA for the Annual rifle deer season. We spent the first three days in the Allegheny National Forest. We counted over 60 new oil wells & they are all shut down which is owned by the FEDS. Some Counties in PA are now taxing the people out of their land. In order to get a lower tax base the Government has this clean & green tax incentive but you have to open your property up to the public in order to qualify for it. My oldest Nephew owns about 50 acres. His taxes went from $1000 a year to $3,500. One of the Local Timber Co. taxes went from $100,000 to one million a year.

:hello: Gas prices here in Central FL range between $1.80 to $2.20 a gal. Ethanol free 89 octane is $270 a gal. They say that the price drop is due to people staying home.

PA pays the highest gas tax out of all the states @ 77 cents per gallon. The great news though is that they use that money wisely to build more toll roads!:cautious:

My mother-in-law lives in PA. I am always giving her crap about gas prices up there. I sent her a pic last week from Fla showing $2.04, and another showing $1.87 in Va. When we go up there I always fill up before we leave, and can get back into Va before filling up again. My wife and kids call me a cheapskate, I prefer to think of myself as "thrifty"! :whistling:

:hello: I filled up 4 2 gal gas cans with ethanol free Shell 93 octane today for $2.60 a gal. VA may have low gas prices but they make up for it with their personal property tax. https://www.fairfaxva.gov/governmen...motor-vehicle-license-tax-individual-business Here in FL we have no State tax. We have what they call is a 5% bed tax. When someone rents a room the 5% tax goes to the State. Last year 110 millon people rented a Hotel/Motel in 2019. FL gas tax is at 40%. Volusia County adds another 10%.
