:hello: Thanks John. Are the decals white or silver and are they original. I put the CAUTION Fuel Over Flow decal and the Noise Emission Control INF decal on the 1988 EL 250 B2 Eliminator today. For some stupid reason the Factory had it half way under the radiator cover. I moved it 1 1/2 inches lower down on the sub frame. I ran the CAUTION Fuel Over Flow decal part # on partzilla. All years of all VNs ELs and ZLs use this same decal. Also I had both the front right and left removable sub frames powder coated last week done in gloss black. Cost $70. The EL 250 is being stored in my friends air conditioned garage for the past year since finishing it. I still need to go through the wiring. _______________________________ IMG_7693.JPG IMG_7695.JPG __________________________________ IMG_7696.JPG IMG_7697.JPG IMG_7698.JPG

RJ the side decals are chrome in appearance. I took those pictures as I was walking out to the car to go to work today. Not the best light where the bike was sitting. Monday I will get better ones. Also my zl10 VIN badges are not smudged. One corner is slightly pelling up but I will takes some pictures of those too. That 250 is sweet. I remember in 1988 when I was getting my zl9 servised at Staten Island Kawasaki they had one. NEW baby Eliminator. I wish I had bought it and put it away but wasn't really thinking that way back then.

:hello: Thanks John. :notworthy:. We all didn't think when we was younger. We just rode them hard and put them away wet as we did some girls. :laughing7:. I bought the EL 250 in 2016 for my Son Jared from Chris who is a Member from OH. I spent 2 years buying NOS OEM parts. It has 1195 0riginal miles. I had it put together in 14 days. Go here to see my 250 build. https://www.zl-oa.com/community/threads/1988-250-eliminator.22662/

:hello: I put a CAUTION fuel over flow decal on my ZL 10s fuel tank. I also took pics of my EL 250 B2 Eliminator VIN # decal. It's still in really good condition. From what I can tell they all read pertty much the same thing and are about all the same size. 3" wide and 1 1/2" tall. :hello: This past Friday I picked up some more decals. I had both the DAILY SAFETY CHECKS made larger. The text was not all that defind. They are much better now. Part # 56031-1425 is for the ZL 9 & 10. Part # 56031-1568 is for the EL 250 and ZL 6. The VECHICLE EMISSION CONTROL INF part # 56037-1354 is for the ZL 10 and part # 56037-1306 is for the ZL 9. I did not have a used one for the ZL 9 so I got the information out of the Manual. I still can't take pics that are not blurred. Some are not clear. I'm done screwing around with my phone to up load pics. IMG_7719.JPG IMG_7717.JPG IMG_7715.JPG IMG_7718.JPG IMG_7716.JPG IMG_7723.JPG IMG_7721.JPG IMG_7722.JPG

:hello: OK: I'm ready for orders. If anyone wants the 2 decals for the frame they will be one of a kind because of the year and the VIN #. I'm not sure on a price as of yet. I'm having solid KAWASAK done in white and red. I'm also getting SUZUKI done in red and white. All decals are $6 each. If you buy a complete set they are $5 each. $8 for shipping, insurance and trackingc for all orders. IMG_7726.JPG IMG_7727.JPG IMG_7729.JPG IMG_7730.JPG

Got some fair pictures of one of my zl9's (85) black and the zl10 (87) black neck decals. Hope these help what you are looking for. The other zl9 is not pictue worthy. I'm in for two sets of the tank KAWASAKI decals for a black zl9.

:hello: Thanks John: I still do not know what color decals go with which color ZL 9s and does the 85 and 86 use different color decals. Did any use white ELIMINATOR side cover decals. I have chrome but no white. Does the black ZL 9 use white decals on the fuel tank and are they solid or just have a white out line. I'd like pics of all 4 ZL 900s fuel tank and side cover decals while they are on the bikes. They must be original to the bike. I've asked this several times. I've never owned a ZL 9 so I don't know. GOUSS: I'll PM you with a price quote as soon as I know which decals to send you.

The black 900 tanks from both years were black Kawasaki w a silver outline. The red, available in 85 only, were silver Kawasaki with a black outline. Marcus should have these already available as well as the chrome Eliminator side cover decals.

My first zl9 was an 86 left over sitting on showroom floor with 2 miles on it. It had chrome side cover decals, tank had black Kawasaki outlined with silver and the was a design that I always called "bull horns" Would always reference taking the bull out for a ride. I have pictures but they are not digital and down deep in some box.

Both of the red zl9's I had where 85. Chrome side cover emblems and black Kawasaki outlined silver. Pictures not as deep in said box.

My other 2 black 85 zl9's had been repainted.

:hello: Thanks guys. I have them all then. When I had them made up I used the ones to copy that I got from MARKUS about 4 years ago. MARKUS: Do you have any caliber decals left. I'd like to buy 4 sets from you which would be 12 each. That wing tanks decals in the pic are white out line. Did any of the ZL 9s come like that from the factory.
