1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

It's great that people are starting to recognize the collector value and rairity of these bikes. I do think the 9 will be top dog as far as value because of Kawasaki ditching the dragster look for the cruiser style of the 10. Insurance driving the design...

Welcome to the club, enjoy your new ZL!

I watched 5 hours of this show but no ZL in that time frame. They will air some more auction action early tomorrow morning, will watch that and see if the ZL appears.

No I did not. Seems the first show was all bikes from a collector over the pond. The second show was the remaining bikes from that collection plus some others. The next show scheduled to air at midnight 2-4-19 might have something. I will have to watch it the next morning on DVR to see if the elusive ZL makes an appearance.

:hello: It was called the MC collection. He was from the UK. He sold 240 + bikes that went for a grand total of 9.5 million. He still ownes 120 + bikes. He's 78 years old & said that his collection was over a 50 year span. He needs retirement money so he says. :laughing7:.

I watched all of the 2019 Mecum bike Auction. They did not show all the bikes. I didn't see the ZL 9 or Matts Macio 490. It was part of the Bob Weaver Collection. https://www.mecum.com/lots/LV0119-347893/1981-maico-m2/ That 240 bike collection was from Stockholm Sweden & not the UK.

Did you watch all 4 episodes ? I watched the first 3 but did not see the last one. And no ZL was shown in those first 3.
