stick coils

Hi guys and gals, has anyone tried fitting stick coils to a ZL ? Apparently lots of ZRX guys are doing it. They reckon it sharpens things up a little, loses about a Pound in weight and creates a load of space under the gas tank. Any comments? :detective:
