:hello: My oldest son Jonathan's first dirt bike was a 95 Suzuki JR 50. He got it for XMAS when he was 4 years old. IMG_3944.JPG IMG_3945.JPG IMG_3946.JPG IMG_3947.JPG My first duel sport bike in FL was the mighty 82 KTM 504 thumper. IMG_3948.JPG IMG_3949.JPG That thing was a monster of a beast. I was at the top of my game then. At age 38 I was in the best shape of my life. I weighed in at 170 lbs. I'd workout in G.E.s. gym Mon., Wed & Fri. I'd run 2 to 4 miles a day on Tue., Thu & Sat. I was able bench press 265 lbs. & run the mile in just under 6 min.

:hello: I had the KTM for 6 years then downsized to a 97 Suzuki DR 200 in 2002. IMG_3951.JPG IMG_3952.JPG My youngest son Jared got his 2004 Suzuki DRZ 110 for XMAS in 2005 at the age of 7. IMG_3953.JPG IMG_3955.JPG IMG_3956.JPG IMG_3957.JPG

:hello: In 2006 my son's started going to ACE MOTOX PARK in Sanford FL pit bike racing. In 2007 my son Jonathan won the 16 inch open class. Jared would go & practice but didn't want to race which was fine with me. :hello: Three weeks ago I sold my 2016 RMZ 450. The barn door has closed on my 2 wheel off roading. :laughing7:. :pain10:. :banghead:. On a good note the 21 year old kid that bought it finished first in his second time racing & has never competed in an orginized racing event before this Fall.

You still got the quad for the dirt, right. Just look at as graduating to a walker with tennis balls on the back legs. Hahaha
Glad you were able to enjoy it for a while anyway, I'm sure it was a much better ride than those from the 70 & 80s.

:hello: I have 2 quads. I guess it was a impulse buy. I wasn't looking for a new dirt bike. It was one of those deals that I couldn't pass up. I only lost a grand on it. Also at the time Suzuki had 0% financing for 5 years. I paid off the bike when the kid handed me cash.
