In 2009, I bought a ZL1000 with 16,000 miles on it. I rode it as my daily to 34,000 miles until 2012, when I let it get away from me and totaled it out. (I know. I'm still sorry. Take it easy on me.)

Low and behold, I move to a small town in Arkansas and find another with 14k on the odometer.

So, one cashier's check later and here I am.... anyone have an owner manual for sale?

:hello: Glad to see that you was able to find another ZL 10.
Thank you, it was a surprise. I'm intending to keep it indefinitely. I have some maintenance and restoration to do.

I will be looking to upgrade to fuel injection in the future.

If anyone has guidance or advice, it would be welcomed.

:hello:I worked on a 1999 kawasaki vulcan nomad 1500 drifter. It was a nightmare. No new parts was available. On the throttle body as to where the two injectors mounted was cracked. I had to widened the cracks and fill them with epox. I also had to fix the variable resistor. I had one in all my electronis componet stash. It started out as a motor swap. I had to put a new fuel pump in the bike plus two othe parts that was part of the fuel injection system. Also had a floating ground. Parts totaled 0ver $600. I charged only $450 labor plus lunch and beer for seven days. I have a thread on the whole thing on this fourm.
