How bout that Tony Romo...tough hard fought victory. Drove his team right down the field...every throw was near perfect! No chokes here...

Funny you didn't post anything last week when they gave that game away to Detroit. They still suck and will choke at the end of the year, like always. You'll see. Romo has played some good football though, but it'll never be enough to win the big one. It never is. It never will be.

Romo did the same thing in last week's game. Like in the game against Denver..it was the defense's fault for the loss.

Dez Bryant is a good kid...by all accounts. But he is just a kid...he still needs a couple of more years to mature into the all star many believe he will be. Good for you if you weren't young and stupid like the rest of us BGT.

If that's true then you are in no position to judge.:no-no-no: Unless you are telepathic, you have no idea what kind of player..or man..this kid is gonna turn out to be. He's got the tools and the work ethic...I have heard a couple of guys that know him say he has done a lot of growing up in the last couple of years. He is not a selfish player...he just wants to play better and expects more from the team he is a part of. I..for one..think they should always have room for a guy like that on the Cowboys!

Nothing to talk about till the defemse starts showing up. Again...you can't ble the loss on Romo or the offense. They scored points...defemse set records for anemic performance.

All the Charger fans I knew or talked to at the time said that. I never understood that decision.

I'd give you two Romo's for a Brees. He will never win the big one. The day Tony Slow-mo wins a Super Bowl is the day I ride a Harley. :rotf:

Tony is a top ten qb...he can get it done better than 75% of nfl quarterbacks. He is a better scrambling play maker than just about anybody...but he can't do it all. Til they get a handle on the defensive side of the ball...what difference does it make?

nfl all time record 40 first downs...if the defense doesn't do anything to slow the other team down..it becomes very hard to get in a rhythm. They were missing like another 20 or so plays that might have allowed them a chance. Study up on the game and come back.

Romo is a gifted QB, like Farve a bit of a gunslinger who is going to throw some interceptions, but Romo didn't give up 49 points. That was the defense. If the Cowboys want to trade him, I can think of 20 or more teams that would be glad to have him. BTW, the fact that the Saints defensive coordinator, who held the same job with the Cowboys until he got fired at the end of last season, knew how to defense Romo pretty well shouldn't surprise anyone.

I have never said Tony Romo was a BAD quarterback, on the contrary, he's very good. He will just never be GOOD ENOUGH to win a Super Bowl with the Cowgirls. This is not as much of a indictment on Tony as it is on Jerry Jones and the state of the Cowboys in general. JJ is a joke and his teams will NEVER be relevant again until he steps out of the way, hires a general manager and lets football guys make football decisions. Sadly, with his ego, that will never happen, so they will suck until he dies. Case closed.

I don't have a problem with anybody criticizing JJ. I do have hopes for him when he does things like admitting publicly he may have made a mistake pulling the trigger on Ryan and blaming him for the lack of production on defense. That is something he was too stubborn or proud to do in years past.

I do...however..take offense to people jumping all over Tony when most of the time he is not the reason for the loss or the lack of offensive production in general. He reminds me of Roger Staubach every time I see him play. I will always be a fan of the man due to his tenacity and quality of character...win or lose.

Another game winning drive in the books. We don't need no stinkin chokers...put the game in Tony's hands...and we'll be fine!

Blah blah blah blah blah. When they win a single playoff game, you can start talking noise. I still say they are heading for another 8-8 season and NO PLAYOFFS!
